Initial Assessment

Service Description

The initial assessment is an information gathering session. This is where we meet and get to know each other a little to determine if my personality and level of experience is a match for your needs. At this session I will gather your paperwork and answer your questions. We will go over what to expect in counseling and your rights as a client (also covered in the paperwork). I will ask questions to learn more about your story, your worries, your struggles and what you would like help with. From gathering this information I can help determine if your situation meets criteria for medical necessity so that we can bill insurance or if paying privately is an option for you.
